Final 8

Note: I went ahead and completed the timing and 3rd edit myself.  Unfortunately, I suck with typesetting and would need help with a few signs, title intro to the movie and 2 songs.  This pretty much will hold up the script for movie #1.  Oh yeah, need a QC as well.

I'll leave this poll up the all of August in the hopes that the BDMVs for any of these series gets released since I still think they'll get released, but considering its been about 6 months since the last BD source, my optimism isn't as high as it use to be.

Lastly, I'm still looking for an editor(s) and timer for Scryed Alteration.  Please help out as I'd love to release these movies to everyone!  

TOS remastered!  Well, for season 1, not really.  There were some changes between the previous release and this release:

1) Minor encoding tweaks for all episodes 
2) Minor timing corrections
3) Minor grammar corrections
4) Sign fonts changed to match seasons 2 & 3 
5) Added Insert Song lyrics in episode 2 (its a beautiful song... Fiat Lux)      

If you're happy with the previous version that was released for season 1, you aren't missing much aside from the changes mentioned above.  I only did season 1 for consistency of the remastered BD source.  The obvious quality difference will be seasons 2 and 3. 

I'm still looking for help with Scryed Alteration.  The script for movie #1 was edited which now resembles English; however, I'm still looking for 2 more edit pass throughs.  Also, I'm looking for a timer for this script as it needs attention.  Let me know via email or comments if you can help.

Its been close to 3 years since the 1st movie (Tao) came out and no group has done it yet due to lack of subs; therefore one can make the safe assumption that it won't get done.  While I was working on the TV series, I really wanted to do these movies, but the lack of subs derailed me from doing these movies.

Fast forward to today and I've struck up a deal with an eBay user who has the movies to only give me the subs (after teaching him how to extract subs).

Now here is where you the fan come into play.  The scripts need MASSIVE amounts of editing.  If you are adverse to the Scryed franchise and have time... b/c time is the main thing you'll need here, I can absolutely use your help.

So to give you guys an idea of how bad the subs are right now... do you remember those foreign films in the 90s and the Engrish subs they had and how we'd laugh on how bad the subs were but continued watching the foreign movie b/c it was cool and just needed subs for a gist of whats going on, same can be applied to the Scryed movie scripts.  However, looking at the movies, it looks like segments of the TV series are put here, so I'd venture to guess that 70% of the movie is taken directly from the TV series, so anyone that would like to assist with editing these scripts can use the TV series as a reference point.

If I had received these scripts about 1 year ago when I was doing the TV series, I would've done all this myself (editing the movie scripts); however, now with almost all my motivation for this kinda stuff pretty much gone, I'll be relying on you guys for assistance.

In the unlikelihood that no one wants to help with editing the Scryed movie scripts, then it'll be a lost investment on my side, which is no biggie; however, I'm hoping someone will have the time to help with this so the general public can appreciate the remastered Scryed material.

This series is finally complete! 

In the batch, I re-encoded episodes 1-4 which got tweaked by additional filters that were propagated onto episodes 5+

We're coming down to the home stretch ladies and gentlemen for Final8... all that's left is 1 active project and 2 stalled projects (due to lack of BDMVs).  Since we're talking about projects, I did promise a few months ago that I'd be doing the BDs for Tales of Symphonia.  So Tales of Symphonia is composed into 3 seasons; however seasons 2 & 3 only had DVD sources and thus, my releases were from the DVDs.  Fast forward to today and seasons 1, 2 and 3 now have BD sources.  For consistency, I'll be redoing season 1, but it already has a BD source, but not season 2 & 3. 

More good news!  The kind donations from the fans of Mushibugyou I was able to buy the next volume (eps 21-23)... receipt 

Just 1 more volume to go and then another series will be complete and then it'll be a waiting game to see when the BDMVs get released for the 2 stalled projects I have left.
